
Seth F. Huy is a Morgantown native and a dedicated litigation attorney with a strong foundation in both law and engineering. He earned his Juris Doctor from the West Virginia University College of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University, giving him a unique analytical perspective on complex legal matters.
Seth focuses his practice on civil litigation, with experience spanning civil rights claims, contract disputes, construction litigation, and property matters. He has served as lead counsel in numerous cases, developing significant courtroom experience in both state and federal courts.
Prior to this role, Seth practiced as a litigation associate in insurance defense, where he handled cases involving negligence, construction issues, and excessive force claims. Throughout his career, he has drafted a wide range of pleadings and dispositive motions, managed complex discovery processes, and worked closely with clients to guide them through every stage of litigation.
Known for his strong work ethic and attention to detail, Seth has also taken on leadership responsibilities, including managing firm caseloads and coordinating with staff to ensure efficient case progression. His commitment to clear communication and thorough preparation makes him a trusted advocate for his clients.
Outside of his practice, Seth remains closely connected to the Morgantown community. He enjoys running, hiking, and skiing, and brings the same discipline and focus from those pursuits into his legal work.
